General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19379) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZC3HAV1L, targeting the amino acid region 1–300 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZC3HAV1L (Zinc Finger CCCH-Type, Antiviral 1 Like) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a protein related to ZC3HAV1 (ZAP), a well-known antiviral effector involved in RNA binding and restriction of viral replication. Although ZC3HAV1L is less well characterized, it contains CCCH-type zinc finger motifs that suggest a role in RNA binding and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. By analogy to its paralog ZC3HAV1, it is thought to participate in RNA metabolism processes such as mRNA stability, degradation, or translational control, potentially contributing to innate immune responses against viral infection. Expression data indicate that it is broadly expressed across tissues, but its precise functional roles and antiviral activity have not been clearly demonstrated experimentally. Overall, ZC3HAV1L is considered a putative RNA-binding regulatory protein with potential involvement in antiviral defense and RNA homeostasis, pending further functional validation.
DPABH-19379 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-19379 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
