This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28564) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZBTB16. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ZBTB16 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene is a member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family and encodes a zinc finger transcription factor that contains nine Kruppel-type zinc finger domains at the carboxyl terminus. This protein is located in the nucleus, is involved in cell cycle progression, and interacts with a histone deacetylase. Specific instances of aberrant gene rearrangement at this locus have been associated with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized. DPABH-28564 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application. DPABH-28564 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
