General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24991) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human UQCRFS1, targeting the amino acid region 1–274 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human UQCRFS1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The ubiquinol cytochrome c reductase UQCRFS1 is a key subunit of the cytochrome bc1 complex (complex III) of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The UQCRFS1 gene encode a 30 kDa protein with a transit peptide and it appears to be involved in development of more aggressive phenotype of breast cancer(PMID:15047214). UQCRFS1 is also named as RISP, complex III subunit 5, cytochrome b-c1 complex subunit 5 and rieske iron-sulfur protein.
DPABH-24991 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:250–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-24991 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
