General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10285) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human UBE2Q1, targeting the amino acid region 258–422 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. UBE2Q1 (Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2 Q1) is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family that plays a central role in the ubiquitin–proteasome system. It functions by transferring ubiquitin from an E1 activating enzyme to substrate proteins, typically in cooperation with specific E3 ubiquitin ligases, thereby regulating protein stability, degradation, and cellular quality control. UBE2Q1 is a membrane-associated E2 enzyme with an N-terminal transmembrane domain, which distinguishes it from many soluble E2 enzymes and suggests involvement in ubiquitination processes at or near cellular membranes. It is broadly expressed across tissues and is thought to participate in regulating diverse biological processes such as cell cycle progression, signal transduction, and stress responses. Dysregulation of ubiquitination pathways involving enzymes like UBE2Q1 has been implicated in cancer and other diseases, although its specific substrates and detailed physiological roles remain incompletely defined.
DPABH-10285 is suitable for use in IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate) application.
DPABH-10285 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
