General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27076) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TRAPPC3, targeting the amino acid region 14–180 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TRAPPC3 is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes trafficking protein particle complex subunit 3 (also known as BET3), a core subunit of the multimeric TRAPP (trafficking protein particle) complex essential for tethering COPII-coated transport vesicles to target membranes during anterograde protein trafficking from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the cis-Golgi apparatus. The TRAPP complex, of which TRAPPC3 is a stable component, functions in the initial stages of the secretory pathway by facilitating homotypic fusion of COPII vesicles to form vesicular tubular clusters and promoting their docking with the cis-Golgi, thereby ensuring efficient cargo delivery in eukaryotic cells. Located on chromosome 1p34.3, the TRAPPC3 gene spans approximately 19.5 kb and produces multiple transcript variants through alternative splicing, resulting in isoforms that share conserved domains critical for complex assembly.
DPABH-27076 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-27076 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
