General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16308) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TRA2B. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TRA2B from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sequence-specific RNA-binding protein which participates in the control of pre-mRNA splicing. Can either activate or suppress exon inclusion. Acts additively with RBMX to promote exon 7 inclusion of the survival motor neuron SMN2. Activates the splicing of MAPT/Tau exon 10. Alters pre-mRNA splicing patterns by antagonizing the effects of splicing regulators, like RBMX. Binds to the AG-rich SE2 domain in the SMN exon 7 RNA. Binds to pre-mRNA. DPABH-16308 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application. DPABH-16308 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
