General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27361) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TNFRSF1B, targeting the amino acid region 23–257 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2), encoded by the TNFRSF1B gene, is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily that primarily binds tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), as well as lymphotoxin alpha (LT-α) and progranulin, to mediate signaling pathways focused on cell survival, proliferation, and immune modulation rather than apoptosis. Unlike its counterpart TNFR1, TNFR2 lacks a death domain in its cytoplasmic tail, enabling it to preferentially recruit TNF receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2) and cellular inhibitors of apoptosis (cIAP1/2) to activate non-canonical pathways that promote anti-inflammatory and regenerative responses. Expressed on a range of cell types including regulatory T cells (Tregs), endothelial cells, microglia, neurons, and tumor-associated immune cells, TNFR2 plays a pivotal role in maintaining immune homeostasis and tissue repair.
DPABH-27361 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-27361 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
