General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26993) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TMEM185A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TMEM185A from mouse and monkey. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM185A (Transmembrane Protein 185A) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted transmembrane protein. Proteins in this class are typically embedded in cellular membranes and are often involved in processes such as transport, signaling, membrane organization, or intracellular trafficking. TMEM185A is considered a poorly characterized gene, and its precise biological function has not been well defined. Based on its predicted transmembrane domains, it is likely associated with membrane structures such as the plasma membrane or organelle membranes, where it may participate in protein–protein interactions or contribute to membrane-associated processes. However, specific molecular mechanisms, interaction partners, and physiological roles of TMEM185A remain largely unknown and are still under investigation.
DPABH-26993 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:1000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-26993 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
