General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20686) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human THAP9. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. THAP9 (THAP domain-containing 9) is a protein-coding gene in humans that acts as an active, domesticated DNA transposase, meaning it is a "jumping gene" capable of cutting and pasting DNA. It is homologous to the Drosophila P-element transposase, retaining the ability to mobilize P-element transposons in both insect and human cells. DPABH-20686 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application. DPABH-20686 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
