General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21816) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TCEA2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TCEA2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Necessary for efficient RNA polymerase II transcription elongation past template-encoded arresting sites. The arresting sites in DNA have the property of trapping a certain fraction of elongating RNA polymerases that pass through, resulting in locked ternary complexes. Cleavage of the nascent transcript by S-II allows the resumption of elongation from the new 3'-terminus.
DPABH-21816 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application.
DPABH-21816 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
