This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26802) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TBXAS1, targeting the amino acid region 178–267 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TBXAS1 catalyzes the conversion of the prostaglandin endoperoxide into thromboxane A2 as a potent vasoconstrictor and inducer of platelet aggregation. It was identified as a novel airway fibroblast-specific marker with integrin-8 (ITGA8) (PMID:20435685). It was observed in the epithelium. It is a monomer with a molecular weight of 60 kDa. It also has two variants with 60.5 kDa and 52.3 kDa (PMID:1730669). DPABH-26802 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-26802 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
