Q: I am trying to detect S. pyogenes within the infected cells. Will this antibody be useful for that purpose. We usually fix the cells with formaldehyde and then proceed with DAPI/counterstain.
A: We do not know if Catalog # DPAB1415 will work with formaldehyde fixation or not. This antibody should recognize S. pyogenes as it is Strep A and this antibody's specificity is Streptococcus Group A.
