This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16606) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SLC1A5. It has been affinity purified by protein A. SLC1A5 (Solute Carrier Family 1 Member 5), also known as ASCT2 (Alanine-Serine-Cysteine Transporter 2), is a Na+-dependent amino acid exchanger responsible for importing neutral amino acids, primarily glutamine, into cells. It is crucial for cancer cell metabolism, providing nutrients that support rapid proliferation and mTORC1 pathway activation.
DPABH-16606 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000) application.
DPABH-16606 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
