General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28006) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SFN, targeting the amino acid region 1–248 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SFN from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Stratifin, also known as 14-3-3 sigma (14-3-3σ), is a protein encoded by the human SFN gene located at chromosome 1p36.11. It belongs to the conserved 14-3-3 family of regulatory proteins, which comprises seven isoforms in mammals and functions by binding to phosphorylated serine or threonine residues on target proteins to modulate their activity, localization, and stability. Expressed predominantly in stratified epithelial cells, stratifin serves as a key cell cycle checkpoint regulator, binding to translation initiation factors to control mitotic translation and preventing DNA replication errors during mitosis in response to genotoxic stress.
DPABH-28006 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-28006 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
