This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13550) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SERPING1, targeting the amino acid region 401–500 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SERPING1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a highly glycosylated plasma protein involved in the regulation of the complement cascade. Its encoded protein, C1 inhibitor, inhibits activated C1r and C1s of the first complement component and thus regulates complement activation. It is synthesized in the liver, and its deficiency is associated with hereditary angioneurotic oedema (HANE). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same isoform.
DPABH-13550 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-13550 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
