General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00424) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RAD17, targeting the amino acid region 96–353 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RAD17 (also known as CCYC, RAD24, or HRAD17) is a human gene that encodes the RAD17 checkpoint clamp loader component protein, a key regulator in the DNA damage response pathway essential for activating cell cycle checkpoints and facilitating DNA repair to maintain genomic stability. The protein exhibits strong structural and functional homology to the rad17 gene product in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, where it is required for cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage and replication stress. Located on chromosome 5q13.2, the RAD17 gene spans approximately 45.5 kb across 21 exons and produces four distinct protein isoforms through alternative splicing, with the canonical isoform comprising 670 amino acids and a molecular weight of about 71 kDa.
DPABH-00424 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-00424 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
