General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27597) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RYK, targeting the amino acid region 308–568 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RYK from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Tyrosine-protein kinase RYK is an atypical member of the receptor tyrosine kinase family and is encoded by the RYK gene. Unlike classical receptor tyrosine kinases, RYK has a catalytically impaired kinase domain and is often considered a pseudokinase, functioning mainly as a signaling scaffold or co-receptor rather than an active enzyme. RYK plays an important role in developmental signaling pathways, particularly in the Wnt signaling network, where it participates in regulation of neuronal development, axon guidance, and tissue morphogenesis. By interacting with Wnt ligands and downstream signaling components, RYK influences cell migration, polarity, and differentiation. Dysregulation of RYK expression has been implicated in cancer biology and nervous system developmental disorders, highlighting its regulatory role in growth and developmental signaling.
DPABH-27597 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-27597 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
