General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24592) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RPAP1, targeting the amino acid region 1–351 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RPAP1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RNA polymerase II-associated protein 1 (RPAP1) encodes a nuclear 153-kDa protein, and forms an interface between the RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) enzyme and chaperone/scaffolding protein, suggesting that it is required to connect RNA polymerase II to regulators of protein complex formation. RPAP1 is required for interaction of the RNA polymerase II complex with acetylated histone H3 and the subsequent DNA transcription. DPABH-24592 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:12,000) application. DPABH-24592 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
