This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08441) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RAB9A, targeting the amino acid region 1–201 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with RAB9A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RAB9A is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes the small GTPase Rab9A, a member of the Rab subfamily of Ras-related GTP-binding proteins, which regulates intracellular vesicular trafficking by cycling between GTP-bound (active) and GDP-bound (inactive) states. Located on the X chromosome at position Xp22.2, RAB9A is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues and primarily functions in the transport of mannose-6-phosphate receptors and other cargo from late endosomes to the trans-Golgi network, facilitating retrograde trafficking essential for lysosomal enzyme sorting and cellular homeostasis.[.
DPABH-08441 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-08441 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
