General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04682) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PSG9. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PSG9 (Pregnancy Specific Beta-1-Glycoprotein 9) is a human protein-coding gene that belongs to the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein (PSG) family, which is part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Members of this family are primarily expressed in the placenta and are among the most abundant fetal-derived proteins present in maternal blood during pregnancy. PSG9 is mainly produced by trophoblast cells and is thought to play roles in immune modulation, placental development, and maternal–fetal tolerance. Like other PSG proteins, it is a secreted glycoprotein that may interact with immune cells, influencing cytokine production and dampening maternal immune responses to support successful pregnancy. Although PSG9 shares structural features with other PSG family members, its specific functional roles are less well characterized compared to more studied members such as PSG1.
DPABH-04682 is suitable for use in IHC 1 (50-1:200), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-04682 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
