General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20849) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PRRC1, targeting the amino acid region 191–356 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PRRC1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PRRC1 (Proline Rich Coiled-Coil 1) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a cytoplasmic protein characterized by proline-rich regions and coiled-coil domains, which typically mediate protein–protein interactions and the assembly of multiprotein complexes. Although its precise molecular function is not fully defined, PRRC1 is thought to act as a regulatory or scaffold protein involved in cellular signaling, cytoskeletal organization, or RNA-associated processes. Proline-rich motifs often facilitate interactions with SH3-domain–containing proteins, suggesting that PRRC1 may participate in signaling networks that regulate cell growth or intracellular trafficking. Expression data indicate that it is broadly expressed across tissues, consistent with a general cellular role rather than tissue-specific specialization. However, its exact biological pathways, binding partners, and disease associations remain largely uncharacterized and require further experimental validation.
DPABH-20849 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-20849 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
