Prickle 2 is a zinc finger transcription factor. Prickle 2 is expressed in the node of the developing mouse embryo as well as the brain where it is specifically expressed in the post mitotic neurons. Depletion of prickle 2 decreases the neurite outgrowth of mouse neuroblastoma cells.
