General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04493) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PPP2R1A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PPP2R1A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a constant regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2. Protein phosphatase 2 is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. This gene encodes an alpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. DPABH-04493 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000-3000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-04493 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
