General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26066) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PLSCR2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PLSCR2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. May mediate accelerated ATP-independent bidirectional transbilayer migration of phospholipids upon binding calcium ions that results in a loss of phospholipid asymmetry in the plasma membrane. May play a central role in the initiation of fibrin clot formation, in the activation of mast cells and in the recognition of apoptotic and injured cells by the reticuloendothelial system. Isoform 1 has no prospholipid scramblase activity, due to the lack of a N-terminal proline-rich domain.
DPABH-26066 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000-3000) application.
DPABH-26066 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
