This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04526) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PIK3C2A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PIK3C2A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. PIK3C2A (Phosphatidylinositol-4-Phosphate 3-Kinase Catalytic Subunit Type 2 Alpha) is a class II lipid kinase that phosphorylates phosphoinositides, key to regulating cellular processes like trafficking, growth, and survival. It plays a critical role in primary cilia maintenance, and mutations in this gene are linked to rare genetic conditions featuring short stature, cataracts, and skeletal abnormalities.
DPABH-04526 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:100), IP (1:50–1:100) applications.
DPABH-04526 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
