This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10834) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PIGS, targeting the amino acid region 313–555 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human PIGS from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PIGS, also named as GPI transamidase component PIG-S or PRO4316, is a 555 amino acid protein, which belongs to the PIGS family. PIGS localizes in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. PIGS is a component of the GPI transamidase complex. It is essential for transfer of GPI to proteins, particularly for formation of carbonyl intermediates.
DPABH-10834 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-10834 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
