This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19215) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PFN1, targeting the amino acid region 41–140 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PFN1 from mouse, rat, dog, cow, and horse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the profilin family of small actin-binding proteins. The encoded protein plays an important role in actin dynamics by regulating actin polymerization in response to extracellular signals. Deletion of this gene is associated with Miller-Dieker syndrome, and the encoded protein may also play a role in Huntington disease. Multiple pseudogenes of this gene are located on chromosome 1.
DPABH-19215 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (3 μg/test) applications.
DPABH-19215 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
