This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16972) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human OVOL1, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with OVOL1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a putative zinc finger containing transcription factor that is highly similar to homologous protein in Drosophila and mouse. Based on known functions in these species, this protein is likely involved in hair formation and spermatogenesis in human as well.
DPABH-16972 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-16972 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
