General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05066) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human NR2C1, targeting the amino acid region 131–230 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NR2C1 from mouse, rat, chicken, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a nuclear hormone receptor characterized by a highly conserved DNA binding domain (DBD), a variable hinge region, and a carboxy-terminal ligand binding domain (LBD) that is typical for all members of the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily. This protein also belongs to a large family of ligand-inducible transcription factors that regulate gene expression by binding to specific DNA sequences within promoters of target genes. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.
DPABH-05066 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-05066 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
