Mycoplasma hominis, p120; Mycoplasma hominis; Mycoplasmataceae; Mycoplasma
Mycoplasma hominis is a strain ofbacteria present in the vagina. It may or may not belong to the normalvaginal flora. It is also believed to be a cause of pelvic inflammatorydisease. If so, it would be only one of many known causes. Suitable for use in ELISA and IFA. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
