General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26312) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against mouse MYD88, targeting the amino acid region 201–296 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MYD88 from human and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Enables ATP-dependent histone chaperone activity; signaling adaptor activity; and signaling receptor binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cellular response to oxidised low-density lipoprotein particle stimulus; positive regulation of macromolecule biosynthetic process; and response to bacterium. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including establishment of endothelial intestinal barrier; regulation of cytokine production; and response to bacterium. Located in cytosol and plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including brain; intestine; and spleen. Used to study Alzheimer's disease; Coronavirus infectious disease; Sjogren's syndrome; and monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in colorectal cancer (multiple); hepatocellular carcinoma; lung cancer (multiple); lymphoma (multiple); and primary immunodeficiency disease. Orthologous to human MYD88 (MYD88 innate immune signal transduction adaptor).
DPABH-26312 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test) applications.
DPABH-26312 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
