General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11508) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ELK4, targeting the amino acid region 1–405 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ELK4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ELK4, also named as SAP1, SAP-1 and SAP1, belongs to the ETS family. It forms a ternary complex with the serum response factor (SRF). ELK4 requires DNA-bound SRF for ternary complex formation and makes extensive DNA contacts to the 5'side of SRF, but does not bind DNA autonomously. It is androgen regulated, involved in promoting cell growth, and highly expressed in a subset of prostate cancer. (PMID:19293179 ).
DPABH-11508 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-11508 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
