This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24743) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MGLL. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MGLL from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a serine hydrolase of the AB hydrolase superfamily that catalyzes the conversion of monoacylglycerides to free fatty acids and glycerol. The encoded protein plays a critical role in several physiological processes including pain and nociperception through hydrolysis of the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol. Expression of this gene may play a role in cancer tumorigenesis and metastasis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. DPABH-24743 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), WB 1 (1000-3000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-24743 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
