General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04308) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MEFV, targeting the amino acid region 1–350 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MEFV, a gene encoding a protein of unknown function, is the genetic cause of Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF), a recessively inherited disorder characterized by recurring attacks of fever and serositis. Recently mutation of MEFV has been reported to cause autoinflammatory disease distinct from FMF.
DPABH-04308 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800), flow cytometry (FC) (0.40 μg per 10^6 cells in a 100 μl suspension) applications.
DPABH-04308 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
