This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01966) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LPHN2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human LPHN2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. LPHN2, Latrophilin-2, is a calcium-independent receptor of low affinity for alpha-latrotoxin which triggers massive exocytosis from neurons and neuroendocrine cells. LPHN2 is a novel receptor of LRG1 that rescues vascular and neurological abnormalities (PMID: 35562586). LPHN2 and LPHN3 serve as postsynaptic recognition molecules in CA1 pyramidal neurons of the hippocampus, localized to Purkinje cells in cerebellum (PMID: 32202499). DPABH-01966 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500), IF-P (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-01966 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
