General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18775) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LACTB2, targeting the amino acid region 1–288 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human LACTB2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is a member of the zinc finger DHHC domain-containing protein family. The encoded protein forms a complex with golgin subfamily A member 7 and functions as a palmitoyltransferase. This protein specifically palmitoylates HRAS and NRAS. Mutations in this gene are associated with X-linked mental retardation. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010]. DPABH-18775 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications. DPABH-18775 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
