This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03955) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human KAT2A, targeting the amino acid region 601–700 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KAT2A from mouse, rat, chicken, pig, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. KAT2A, or GCN5, is a histone acetyltransferase (HAT) that functions primarily as a transcriptional activator. It also functions as a repressor of NF-kappa-B (see MIM 164011) by promoting ubiquitination of the NF-kappa-B subunit RELA (MIM 164014) in a HAT-independent manner (Mao et al., 2009 [PubMed 19339690]).
DPABH-03955 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application.
DPABH-03955 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
