This product (Catalog No. DPABH-07584) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ITPA. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ITPA from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes an inosine triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase. The encoded protein hydrolyzes inosine triphosphate and deoxyinosine triphosphate to the monophosphate nucleotide and diphosphate. This protein, which is a member of the HAM1 NTPase protein family, is found in the cytoplasm and acts as a homodimer. Defects in the encoded protein can result in inosine triphosphate pyrophosphorylase deficiency which causes an accumulation of ITP in red blood cells. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-07584 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-07584 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
A: Recombinant fragment, corresponding to amino acids 21-177 of Human Inosine triphosphate pyrophosphatase (BC010138).
