General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13331) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human IGSF21, targeting the amino acid region 117–467 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human IGSF21 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. IGSF21 (Immunoglobulin superfamily member 21) is a GPI-anchored protein that contains two immunoglobulin-like domains (Ig-like 1 and Ig-like 2). The Ig-like 1 domain of IGSF21 is indispensable for synaptogenic activity whereas its Ig-like 2 domain is secondarily responsible for the activity. It has been reported that IGSF21 selectively regulates inhibitory presynaptic differentiation through interacting with presynaptic neurexin2α and plays a crucial role in synaptic inhibition in the brain. (PMID: 28864826). DPABH-13331 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-13331 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
