This product (Catalog No. CPBT-27759RH) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ZEB1, targeting the amino acid region 71–170 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ZEB1 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a zinc finger transcription factor. The encoded protein likely plays a role in transcriptional repression of interleukin 2. Mutations in this gene have been associated with posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy-3 and late-onset Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
