This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28041) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HSD3B1. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is an enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative conversion of delta-5-3-beta-hydroxysteroid precursors into delta-4-ketosteroids, which leads to the production of all classes of steroid hormones. The encoded protein also catalyzes the interconversion of 3-beta-hydroxy- and 3-keto-5-alpha-androstane steroids. DPABH-28041 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-28041 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
