General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26196) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HDGF, targeting the amino acid region 141–190 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the hepatoma-derived growth factor family. The encoded protein has mitogenic and DNA-binding activity and may play a role in cellular proliferation and differentiation. High levels of expression of this gene enhance the growth of many tumors. This gene was thought initially to be located on chromosome X; however, that location has been determined to correspond to a related pseudogene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
DPABH-26196 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:300) application.
DPABH-26196 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
