This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00300) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against hcv HCV NS5B, targeting the amino acid region 21–102 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B is a vital RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) that catalyzes the replication of the HCV RNA genome, making it a primary target for direct-acting antiviral (DAA) drugs like sofosbuvir. It possesses a right-hand structure—fingers, palm, and thumb—that initiates RNA synthesis via de novo or primer-dependent mechanisms, producing new viral RNA.
DPABH-00300 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application.
DPABH-00300 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
