General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H81617) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against n/a HA tag. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The HA-tag is a short peptide epitope tag consisting of nine amino acids (sequence: YPYDVPDYA) derived from residues 98–106 of the hemagglutinin (HA) surface glycoprotein of human influenza virus, enabling specific detection and purification of recombinant proteins through affinity binding to monoclonal anti-HA antibodies. This tag is genetically fused to the N- or C-terminus of a target protein via recombinant DNA techniques, allowing for applications such as immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence microscopy, and protein localization studies without significantly disrupting the protein's native structure or function due to its compact size. DPATB-H81617 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:5,000) application. DPATB-H81617 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
