General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-06288) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GUCY1B3, targeting the amino acid region 521–619 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GUCY1B3 from mouse, rat, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes the beta subunit of the soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), which catalyzes the conversion of GTP (guanosine triphosphate) to cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate). The encoded protein contains an HNOX domain, which serves as a receptor for ligands such as nitric oxide, oxygen and nitrovasodilator drugs. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
