General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26165) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GMPS. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GMPS from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. In the de novo synthesis of purine nucleotides, IMP is the branch point metabolite at which point the pathway diverges to the synthesis of either guanine or adenine nucleotides. In the guanine nucleotide pathway, there are 2 enzymes involved in converting IMP to GMP, namely IMP dehydrogenase (IMPD1), which catalyzes the oxidation of IMP to XMP, and GMP synthetase, which catalyzes the amination of XMP to GMP.
DPABH-26165 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (1:50–1:100) applications.
DPABH-26165 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
