This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16164) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GJD2. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the connexin protein family. Connexins are gap junction proteins which are arranged in groups of 6 around a central pore to form a connexon, a component of the gap junction intercellular channel. The channels formed by this protein allow cationic molecule exchange between human beta cells and may function in the regulation of insulin secretion. DPABH-16164 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-16164 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
