This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00690) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GCGR, targeting the amino acid region 11–110 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GCGR from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The Glucagon Receptor (GCGR) is a Class B G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) primarily expressed in the liver, playing a vital role in glucose homeostasis. Activated by the hormone glucagon, GCGR triggers glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis, raising blood glucose levels. It is a key therapeutic target for metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes and NASH.
DPABH-00690 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test) applications.
DPABH-00690 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
