This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20943) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GADL1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GADL1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Glutamic acid decarboxylase-like protein 1 (GADL1) is a PLP-dependent enzyme that acts as a multifunctional decarboxylase, primarily catalyzing the production of β-alanine and hypotaurine in the brain and muscles. It plays a role in carnosine synthesis and is linked to lithium response in bipolar patients, along with potential roles in taurine biosynthesis. DPABH-20943 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:30–1:150) applications. DPABH-20943 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
