General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20078) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EFCAB1, targeting the amino acid region 1–211 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human EFCAB1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. EFCAB1, also known as Calaxin, is a gene that encodes a protein involved in the function of cilia and flagella, which are hair-like structures protruding from the surface of certain cells. Research indicates that EFCAB1 overexpression inhibits cell proliferation, migration, and invasion while promoting apoptosis in lung adenocarcinoma cells. This suggests that EFCAB1 could potentially serve as a biomarker for lung adenocarcinoma.
DPABH-20078 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-20078 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
